Our Story
The longest-running Montessori school in Brea
Montessori of Brea has been a fixture in this community since 1969 — quietly doing one thing, and doing it well. We follow the original Montessori method, using the very materials Dr. Maria Montessori designed, in an environment built to draw each child in to explore, concentrate, and grow.
Ours is a multi-age, multi-grade school for children ages 2 to 7. In our classrooms, children of mixed ages work side by side on their own age-appropriate activities — the younger ones learning from the older, the older ones growing through leadership. Children develop a sense of order, independence, and self-esteem, without competition and without pressure.

From age two through 1st grade
Toddler Primary welcomes two-year-olds, including those still learning to toilet, and children can stay with us through TK, Kindergarten, and 1st grade.
